Participation in the Red Devils Baseball program is a privilege. The Red Devils Baseball program aims to build character in young players by emphasizing competition, sportsmanship, and personal responsibility. Every player is expected to conduct themselves with integrity — on the field, in the dugout, and in the community. This Code of Conduct applies at all Red Devils practices, games, tournaments, and events.
As a Red Devils Player, I Will:
- ✓Follow the directions of the coaching staff at all times.
- ✓Arrive on time and prepared for all practices, meetings, and games.
- ✓Notify the coaching staff promptly when unable to attend a practice or game.
- ✓Be honest and take full responsibility for my actions and their results.
- ✓Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.
- ✓Display good sportsmanship and support for my teammates at all times.
- ✓Play for the good of the team, giving my best effort every session.
- ✓Encourage and support my teammates in both success and struggle.
- ✓Learn and respect the rules of baseball and play the game fairly.
- ✓Treat all players, coaches, umpires, parents, and spectators with dignity and respect, using appropriate language and tone at all times.
- ✓Respect the authority of umpires, even when I disagree with a call.
- ✓Recognize and acknowledge outstanding play by either team.
- ✓Help my family, friends, and fans understand the rules and standards of the program — including that inappropriate language or behavior is not permitted.
- ✓Control my temper and refrain from retaliating, even when I feel I have been wronged.
- ✓Understand that my conduct on and off the field reflects on my team, my family, my community, and the Red Devils Baseball program.
As a Red Devils Player, I Will Not:
- ✗Use or possess tobacco, alcohol, or any illegal or performance-enhancing substance. The use of any controlled substance is strictly prohibited at all Red Devils events.
- ✗Use abusive, profane, or disrespectful language at any time.
- ✗Taunt, mock, or attempt to humiliate any player, opponent, coach, or official.

- ✗Use any form of intimidation or bullying against a teammate, opponent, or any other individual.
- ✗Threaten or engage in physical confrontation with any person at or around any Red Devils event.
- ✗Use social media to post disrespectful, harmful, or embarrassing content related to teammates, opponents, coaches, or the program.
- ✗Represent the Red Devils in any manner that brings discredit to the program, my family, or my community.
Parent & Guardian Expectations
- ✓Support your player with encouragement and positive reinforcement.
- ✓Model the same standards of sportsmanship expected of our players.
- ✓Respect coaches, umpires, and officials — do not argue calls from the stands.
- ✓Allow coaches to coach — avoid providing competing instruction during games and practices.
- ✗Do not use abusive language or engage in confrontational behavior at any Red Devils event. Parents who violate this standard may be asked to leave and their player's participation may be reviewed.
Consequences for Violations
Violations of this Code of Conduct will be reviewed by the Red Devils coaching staff, Executive Director, and/or program leadership. Consequences will be determined based on the nature and severity of the violation and may include a formal warning, temporary suspension from play, or permanent removal from the program. Removal from the program for conduct violations does not entitle the player or family to a refund of registration fees.
